We at Joining Forces believe that housing is a human right. We envision diverse, inclusive communities with sustainable housing for all.
In order for communities to have sustainable housing for all, people and local governments must understand that housing is a necessity, which means that people facing homelessness are lacking many basic necessities, creating an ultimate need for more affordable housing. Therefore, communities must support and embrace the inevitable changes that are likely to come with increased affordability and eliminate barriers that may prevent housing for people of any economic level, race, age, gender, sexual orientation, and ability from being provided.
