*** We included Hispanic or Latino as a race in this analysis, following the race categories that the Chicago Metropolitan Agency on Planning uses in their Homes for a Changing Region tool. Their categories include White (non-Hispanic), Hispanic or Latino (f any race), Black (non-Hispanic), Asian (non-Hispanic), and Other/Multiple Races (non-Hispanic).

**** We received only 6 survey responses from people who identify as Asian, Pacific Islander, Alaskan, or Native American. We have not included these responses in the analysis below but recommend that future research address outreach methods that can garner more representative results.
